SoftOpt

SoftOpt is a group of researchers from various universities and research institutes offering mathematical and statistical consultancy to industry and government bodies.

Projects in which members were involved in the past include financial engineering, portfolio optimization, resource allocation problems, supply-chain management and scheduling problems.

The aim is to provide transfer of technology from the academic to the industrial world. Our experience is that for many problems arising in industry and government the necessary know-how already exists and that, in fact, these problems can be solved.
