The development and application of mathematical models designed to solve specific client problems is at the heart of SoftOpt. Problems are formulated in close harmony with clients and, where appropriate, are analysed from fundamentals in order to ensure that the most relevant conceptual, mathematical and numerical formulations are used.

State-of-the-art mathematical tools are used, including Genetic Algorithms, Dynamic Programming, Linear and Mixed Integer Programming, Bayesian Statistics, Time Series and Data-mining.
